Came over from Santa Monica to do a sound healing training and wanted to experience a little historical Pasadena. I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the aesthetic of the place and bed so comfortable that I booked an extra night just to unwind after a long intense weekend of learning. Loved the little fitness center and became somewhat addicted to popping in whenever I got a chance two and three times even a day which felt really good. The weather was a little too chilly to swim, but the pool was warm and as for the location outside of my door on the same street, I had the most amazing Colombian coffee Shop, exceptional Venezuelan restaurant and Massage Spa, where I treated myself to a 90 minute massage just to put a big bow on the whole trip, I highly highly recommend -everyone who worked there was above and beyond with great customer service, which means so much to me

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. It’s probably the cleanest and most beautiful hotel in the downtown area, with a modern aesthetic that really stands out. The room was nicely appointed, offering both comfort and style. The check-in process was incredibly friendly, setting the tone for a relaxed stay. While the hotel does have a pool, there isn’t a hot tub, but that didn’t bother me at all. The parking is reasonably priced and definitely a must if you’re traveling with valuables or a lot of stuff in your car. A highlight of the location is the bakery right across the street, serving up excellent croissants and baguettes—perfect for a quick breakfast. Also, if you’re a book lover, make sure to check out the awesome bookstore just a short walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for its combination of value, cleanliness, and great location!

I really appreciated how Hotel Angeleno preserved the design integrity of its time. It's like you step into a time capsule in a way and almost forget about your surroundings. I forgot most of the time i was there on a Monday/Tuesday. The staff was also great. They were friendly and helpful from the front desk and bar to the cleaning staff members. It's not often in LA people ask how your day is going and try to be genuinely helpful but this staff proved otherwise and were lovely. There are so many little nooks I could work from the lobby to the patio or poolside. The bar has a curated menu and the drinks are excellent. They will even bring out your drinks to the pool if preferred. You could really see their efforts to keep the hotel clean and on point design wise. I would definitely stay again.

The location and proximity to conveniences and restaurants was great! Loved the bar and overall look of the lobby- it was welcoming and fun! Very beautiful. The pool was very quiet and because we paid to upgrade our room (the location of original room was directly in front of the elevator doors so we asked to be moved and there was zero availability so we had to pay to upgrade) the one bedroom suite was very quiet and offered tons of space!

This Historic Hotel of America is beautifully restored. Our room was superb, with unusual decor and a contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower. The hallways were unusual, and fun. The hotel lobby is original-looking, with perfectly restored furniture and lots of seating areas. It is located on historic Route 66, near the heart of Old Town Pasadena. Many restaurants and shops are nearby.
